Julie Moeller - Training Department Manager
Julie Moeller has worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities for over 25 years. She has worked in various residential and work setting over those years as a DSP, Home Provider, House Manager, Administrator, Professional Trainer and Training Manager.
Ms. Moeller got her start as a Professional Trainer in 1994 at an agency in western Maine. She came to John F. Murphy Homes, Inc. in January of 1999 as a Professional Trainer. Julie acquired a number of professional certifications during her tenure at JFM including Training Facilitator, Training Generalist and Training Manager.
Julie has presented at various conferences including the DSP Conference in New Hampshire and Maine. She has also facilitated trainings for various agencies across the state. She is certified as an American Red Cross Instructor for CPR/First Aid/ Preventing Disease Transmission, Advanced NAPPI and DSP Curriculum. She also teaches Safe Driving and Therap Systems.
Stephanie Hatcher - Professional Trainer
Stephanie began her career in the direct service field as a Direct Support Professional at a local day program. During her 14 years at the program Stephanie was instrumental in developing several curriculum; the one she truly was passionate about was a program called Stepping Out a Community Inclusion curriculum that not only got individuals into the community but networking the USE of the community. In addition Stephanie spent a lot of time assisting individuals learning to use the computer both on and off-line. She also spent 6 years working in residential services as a DSP.
Stephanie began her training career in the spring of 2005 as a certified American Heart Association CPR/AED instructor. In July of 2005 she received her Certification as a Professional Trainer for the Direct Service Professional curriculum by the Behavioral Health and Science Institute. Stephanie joined the John F. Murphy Homes training department in March 2008. Currently, she holds training certification in the Direct Service Professional Curriculum, American Red Cross CPR, First Aid and Prevention of Disease Transmission, NAPPI and American Heart Association CPR.
Jackie Kyllonen - Professional Trainer
Jackie Kyllonen completed the Training Certification program at USM in 2006, after a variety of work opportunities in the field of Developmental Disabilities. Her career began in a kitchen, as a cook, at an ICF/MR nursing home facility.
Moving from that job to work as a DSP, followed by her first position in training as a Training Coordinator. Jackie helped develop and organize the training department in a agency providing support to people with developmental disabilities. She got her start training CPR and safety classes, moving into the classroom on a more regular basis and then writing a developing curriculum. Her style is interactive and based on activity type learning. She is creative and enthusiastic about her work.
