In-Home Supports
The children's in home support program provides for qualified staff to come into the child's home and work with the child as needed and prescribed by the child's individual support plan. The program is designed to enhance skill development in the areas of:
Socialization - getting along with others, taking turns, making good social choices.
Communication - listening skills, use of alternative means of communicating like sign language or picture communication.
Managing one's behavior - following a consistent plan to provide the support a child might need to replace abhorrent behavior with more acceptable behavior.
